THE PHASE ONE XF; ORIGIN STORY & FEATURES OVERVIEW
Phase One has invested millions to build a new platform. It’s faster, has an industrial build quality, has tons of practical professional features, and mates perfectly with the Phase One IQ series and Capture One Pro. In this interactive session you’ll hear the story of its creation from Doug Peterson of Digital Transitions, who has just spent the past week in Phase One Denmark with their R&D and product management team. He’ll also guide you through its myriad features that will help both in the studio and in the field, such as focus assist, seismograph-based vibration delay, built in Profoto controls, completely programmable buttons, and the forthcoming optional waist level viewfinder.
CAPTURE ONE 8.3 NEW FEATURES & XF INTEGRATION
Capture One v8 brought a new paradigm of development. Now new features are being released with every sub version. Come learn about the new features released in Capture One 8.0, 8.1 and 8.2; they are appearing so rapidly they are easy to miss! For instance, did you know you can do multiple guides, change the color used to denote “selected,” mirror an advanced capture folder structure automatically upon output, and access the crop aspect ratio without slugging your cursor all the way to the top of the screen again? These and tons more tools (3-way Color Balance, customizable auto-adjustment, incremental camera controls, and find/replace renaming to name a few) have been snuck in by the team in Denmark. We’ll walk you through all the changes so you don’t miss out on any of these exceptionally useful tools – especially those available in Capture One 8.3 announced on June 2nd that enable seamless XF integration.
